I looked for sympathy, but there was none,
for comforters, but I found none.

I don’t know about other people, but I tend to see Jesus as a bit of a smart alack and someone who stood aloof from things and didn’t look to anyone for help or understanding. This might be a case of making Him into my own image, but, still, I know He did manifest these qualities to some extent.

Jesus started his ministry hungry and ended his ministry thirsty.

Mother: Zibiah from Beersheba in way southern Judah.

Name means Jehovah-given. Given by Jehovah? Given by the LORD? (????? ????)

His contemporaries were Elisha, Hazeal King of Aram (Syria), Jehu king of Israel, and his son, Jehoahaz.

Interestingly enough, Jehoahaz, a wicked king, seems to have been repenting about the same time that Joash was going astray.

Altho Reheboam humbled himself before God, he still kept his idols around. They would not be removed until the revival that occurred during the reign of his grandson, Asa¹.

¹ 1 Kings 15:12 note fathers, plural including at least Abijah and one more progenitor.

Daniel 9:22

And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, “O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you skill to understand." NKJV

Hmm I never thot of it that way. It takes skill, and i assume experience and wisdom to understand biblical prophesy.

Skill comes over time, and with use, and with experience, and also, evidently, with direct impartation from an angelic messanger from God.

From Nehemiah:

10 I also realized that the portions for the Levites had not been given them; for each of the

with the rulers, and said, "Why is the house of God forsaken?"

 Eh? Whats this?

One of the signs the house of God is forsaken and the people are falling into aposty is the neglecting of finances for the singers?
